Flint Saginaw Bay City, MI, October 20, 2026 —
MLive is highlighting top senior athletes across Michigan as part of its fall sports coverage, including a focus on identifying the state’s top senior in girls golf.
The available information does not identify any athletes, describe how candidates are selected, or say when a top girls golf senior will be named. It also does not provide details about other sports or the format of MLive’s senior-athlete coverage. Those specifics were not provided.
The girls golf feature is described as part of a broader effort to highlight senior athletes around the state. Beyond that focus, no further information is available about the scope of the coverage, the criteria used to identify athletes, or whether the feature involves a ranking, an award, or another form of recognition.
As a result, the announcement establishes that senior athletes are being highlighted and that girls golf is included, but it does not provide enough detail to identify the athletes involved or explain the selection process. Further information about the names, criteria and timing was not included in the summary.
