ATLANTA, Oct. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — nuVizz, a provider of transportation management systems (TMS) and last-mile delivery technology, today announced it has been recognized as an Accelerator in the 2026 Nucleus Research Transportation Management Value Matrix. Nucleus Research (Nucleus) notes that nuVizz focuses on complex delivery environments where shippers and logistics service providers need to coordinate large networks of internal fleets, contracted carriers, delivery partners, and customers through a common operating environment.
Nucleus calls network-level orchestration a central element of the platform: “Rather than managing each carrier relationship as an isolated integration, nuVizz provides a common technology layer across downstream delivery partners.” The report adds that this is “particularly relevant for organizations managing large carrier ecosystems where technology fragmentation can make network-wide visibility and process consistency difficult to maintain.”
“nuVizz started as a last-mile delivery technology, and our customers kept asking for more,” said Guru Rao, CEO, nuVizz. “Enterprise TMS platforms were built around orders and line-haul, and in healthcare, pharma, auto parts, and retail, the last mile is where the connections break between shipper, 3PL, carrier, driver, and end customer. Over the past several years, we built planning, execution, orchestration, and settlement into one last-mile TMS, and we put real work into making it easier for dispatchers, drivers, and carrier partners to stay connected.
“The most complex and expensive part of delivery, the last mile, requires a specialized technology, and that is what nuVizz provides,” Rao continued. “It’s an honor to be named in the same matrix as leading enterprise multi-modal TMS providers like SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, and Manhattan Associates. nuVizz, as the only true last-mile TMS platform in the value matrix, does not compete with any of the enterprise TMS providers but works in conjunction, providing the specialized, best-of-breed capabilities for last-mile delivery network management.”
On the planning side, nuVizz supports delivery networks that mix private fleets, third-party carriers, and outsourced providers. Capabilities include strategic and capacity planning, static and dynamic route planning, real-time route optimization, automated dispatch, vehicle routing and scheduling, load and resource allocation, and cross-dock coordination. Planners adjust routes as conditions change during execution.
Execution extends through driver and hub operations, including live tracking, geofencing, proof of delivery, document and image capture, event-based workflows, returns, and exception handling. Nucleus notes that nuVizz “is designed to standardize these processes across heterogeneous carrier and partner environments, allowing shippers to apply common workflows and service requirements even when individual carriers operate different technology stacks.”
For LSPs, the same architecture supports multiple shipper customers and delivery models in one environment. LSPs can consolidate fragmented last-mile technologies across business lines while keeping customer-specific workflows intact. Shared visibility into drivers, assets, delivery capacity, and customer activity also supports co-mingled delivery networks, where resources are allocated across multiple accounts or service offerings.
“Shippers across all verticals already have plenty of data,” said Pratik Jagad, COO, nuVizz. “What they lack is one view of it, because every carrier, 3PL, cross-dock agent, and driver in the network runs on a different system, and comparing performance turns into a spreadsheet project. A TMS built for the last mile keeps contract management, customer invoicing, driver settlement, and analytics on the same record as the delivery itself, so teams see cost, compliance, and customer experience in one place.”
The report also points to the platform’s foundation for AI-driven logistics workflows, built on real-time delivery data, routing and execution context, workflow automation, and network-wide visibility. Still, Nucleus concludes: “The more important current capability, however, remains its ability to coordinate fragmented last-mile carrier networks through a common planning and execution layer rather than treating visibility, routing, and delivery management as separate point solutions.”
